Mike Reinold, co-owner of Champion Physical Therapy and Performance in Waltham, has recently been named one of the 100 Most Influential People in Health and Fitness by leading fitness website, Greatist.com.
The most influential people list includes an impressive group of people such as Dr. Oz, Jillian Michaels, Gwyneth Paltrow, Tony Robbins, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and this year’s winner, First Lady Michelle Obama.
“To be included in such an amazing group of inspirational people is truly an honor,” stated Reinold. “I’m not sure I would put myself up there with these amazing people but it is appreciated to know that what we are doing at Champion Physical Therapy and Performance is being recognized.”
The authors of the list highlight Reinold’s passion for helping people return to optimal health and fitness. After serving as the Head Athletic Trainer and Physical Therapist of the Red Sox for many years, Reinold co-founded Champion to recreate the integrated health and fitness model used to enhance elite athletic performance for the people of all ages and ability levels.
“We wanted to build something special at Champion using an integration of personal training, sports performance training, and physical therapy to help people get the most out of their bodies,” Reinold Explains. “People are focusing on how they can optimize themselves to perform better. Our client’s goals range from losing fat, to building strength, to recovering from an injury, and even to playing professional sports. It doesn’t really matter, they all want to get the most out of their bodies.”
