Stars of superhero movies often have to get whipped into shape for their roles, and Brie Larson was no different, revealing some of her training for Captain Marvel.

The 29-year-old actress stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show, with her appearance airing on Friday, February 1, where she revealed that she was actually able to push a Jeep uphill thanks to her training.

'I trained for nine months and then I was able to do crazy things,' Larson said. 'Like I could deadlift 225 pounds by the end of it.

Ellen also revealed that the man who trained her for Captain Marvel, Jason Walsh, is her trainer as well, though Ellen admitted she, 'hasn't seen him in months.'

Larson revealed that they had a joke during training, and since her powerful character Captain Marvel can literally move planets in the comics, she at least wanted to be able to move a vehicle by herself.

'If I could just push your Jeep, then I'll feel like I was ready,' Larson added. 'So, it happened. There was a day where I did it.'

Larson could prove it as well, with footage being displayed on the monitor of Larson in workout gear, moving her trainer's Jeep up the alley, while looking quite strained.

She added that there was a 'full tank of gas' in it as well as a person, who was there to put on the brakes, 'in case I got run over.'

Larson went on to describe her character, Carol Danvers as a 'bad-a**,' explaining that she was an Air Force pilot who was 'breaking crazy records,' before 'this insane thing' happens and gives her super powers.

'This film is about her learning about her past, figuring out who she is, and owning herself, which was my favorite part,' Larson added.

Ellen went on to check out two action figures made in Larson's likeness, which both include a cat her character has that lead to one of Ellen's patented surprise scares, with an Ellen staffer jumping out of a box wearing a cat costume.

Later on in the program, Larson got to show off some of her dance moves in a segment with DJ tWitch called, Can tWitch and Brie Dance To What's Behind Them? where they both had to copy the dance moves from music videos.

For each move they replicate, Shutterfly donated $1,000 to the Captain Marvel Challenge.

Larson and tWitch danced to Madonna's Vogue, a hula dance, a dance from Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Britney Spears' Oops I Did It Again, N'Sync's Bye Bye Bye and more.

The duo raised $10,000 for the Captain Marvel Challenge, which, as Larson explained, is, 'a way to get particular girls who don't have means to get to the theater, who don't have the money, to get them to see this movie.'

Captain Marvel hits theaters nationwide March 8, with Larson reprising her title role just a few weeks later in Avengers: Endgame, arriving in theaters April 26.
