It's time to admit something: On a typical diet, soup can get kinda boring (you know, unless you like eating straight-up veggies in broth).

The best keto soup recipes contain high-fat (read: tastier) ingredients like cream, cream cheese, cheese, and butter; a little bit of meat; and non-starchy veggies like broccoli and cauliflower, says Sarah Jadin, R.D., of Keto Consulting, LLC.
Of course, that kind of limits your options on the grocery store shelves. “Most commercially prepared soups won’t be keto compliant,” says Jadin.
